(i)      The Wings schools is the first school to organise remembrance lecture to mark the first year anniversary of demise of Nigerian former Minister of Education – Late Prof. Babatunde Aliu Fafunwa. The event took place on 11th October 2011.

(ii)     The Wings Schools participated in the inter school debate for Junior Secondary Schools in Osun state. It was held on 30th March 2012 and anchored by Reality Television Services, Iwo.

(iii)    A primary four pupil – Olayinka Ayisat won the 1st position in a National Essay Competition for all primary schools in Nigeria. The Competition was organised by Glorious Islamic Centre, Lagos- 2011 edition.

(iv)    In the 2012 edition of the competition a primary five pupil Adeniran Aminat came first and awarded presentable prize.

(v)     The 2013 edition of the competition brought the school into limelight when two of our students won prizes. They were Master Adediran Faruq a J.S.S Student and Miss Situ Zainab – a primary five pupil. They were both honoured with prizes.

(vi)    Also in 2013, A JSS student – Inaolaji Abidat represented Iwo Local Government in Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN) competition organised by Osun State chapter.

(vii)   A primary five pupil of this school – Adediran Faruq was invited to participate in Federal Government Scholarship examination held at Akure – Ondo state in the year 2013.

(viii)  For the 2014 edition of the Glorious Islamic Centre, essay Competition, Yes a Muhammed, a primary four pupil of the school won the second position and was awarded a cash prize
