The day to day administration shall be with the principal officers of the schools – the principal, the vice principals, the headmaster and the assistant headmasters. These principal officers shall meet together as occasion demands to discuss common affairs and separately as the need arises this will be referred to as the wings Primary School Administration and the Wings secondary school Administration.
Our philosophy is as encapsulated in our vision: To deliver competitive education that will cultivate sense of civic orientation, lend a helping hand to the less privilege and foster self-reliance. Our mission: To provide effective and culture –driven learning in a friendly environment and to mould character imbued with the fear of the creator. We do not think that the above require any elaboration.
We have come to learn from our community of clients that our physical structure make us to stand out among the crowd. Our classrooms are spacious and well ventilated, our compound is neat, our washrooms are well tiled and ever neat. We have spacious playing ground and sporting facilities.
Our Achievements
At The Wings Secondary School, we take pride in our commitment to academic excellence and the pursuit of knowledge. Over the years, we have achieved remarkable milestones that reflect our dedication to fostering a culture of learning and achievement.
In addition to our recent triumphs in national competitions, such as the Olagoke Educational Foundation Quiz and the National Library Quiz and Reading Competition, The Wings Secondary School has also made significant contributions at the state and regional levels.
One notable achievement is our pioneering initiative to organize a remembrance lecture in honor of the late Nigerian former Minister of Education, Prof. Babatunde Aliu Fafunwa. As the first school to host such an event, we commemorated the first anniversary of his demise on October 11, 2011, paying tribute to his legacy and contributions to education in Nigeria.
Furthermore, at The Wings Schools, we uphold a zero-tolerance policy for Examination Malpractice. This commitment to integrity underscores our dedication to preparing our students thoroughly for both internal and external examinations. By instilling a sense of academic integrity and honesty, we empower our students to excel with integrity and honor.
